Analytics technologies are on the five-year horizon for higher education institutions
‘Analytics technologies are expected to be increasingly adopted by higher education institutions in one year’s time or less to make use of student data that can be gathered through a proliferation of sources.’
The 2018 NMC Horizon report profiles six key trends, six significant challenges and six developments in educational technology. It aims to provide useful references and considerations for educators, leaders, technologists, policy makers and to inform the choices that institutions are making about the use of technology to ‘improve, support or extend teaching, learning and creative inquiry in higher education across the globe’.
